1.Overivew : <<back

Instant WebPage Capture has been designed to instantly capture the WebPage you are viewing
in Internet Explorer, it is as easy as going to a WebPage clicking on the Red Folder in your
explorer bar and capturing the page most WebPages will be captured virtually instantly
or with in a few seconds even on slow connections.

The easy catalogue function will allow you to view pages you have captured instantly in your Browser,
You can also Encrypt the page contents.

2. Capturing a WebPage (Instantly) : <<back

When you run Internet Explorer you will notice a red folder icon in the tool bar, by clicking this will activate
Instant WebPage Capture. You can also run from the "Tools" Menu located next to Help.

You will notice two options Choose "Capture This Page"

After you press the "Capture This Page" button you will see the following

When the "Capture Page" button is pressed the page will be instantly captured (win/nt/2000/me/xp),
win 98 will take only a few seconds longeryou can use the "Choose Topic" selection to put the page
into the topic heading.

3. Encrypting a WebPage : <<back

Captured WebPages can also be encrypted to activate this check the Encrypt check box. Initially
there is no password to unecrypt captured pages this can be changed by settings "Set" in the
"View Captured Data" area

To view your captured page re-run "Instant WebPage Capture" and choose "View Captured Data"

4. Viewing WebPages : <<back

Click on the Page name you wish to view in this case it would be "Google", You will notice that
the Address bar in your Internet explorer will change. goto to other WebPage and capture them in the
above manner. You can use the << and >> to go from one captured page to the next.

You can also "Auto View Webpage by clicking on the start page you want to start from then pressing the
"Ato" button the pages will automatically cycle according to the time set in setup up in Auto load timer"Set"

The "Sca" button when you click on this button this will scale down the main data viewer so you can see more
of the webpage you are viewing, pressing the "Sca button again will scale the data viewer back to its default size.

Hint :
You can view and capture pages at the same time just leave the data viewer open and capture pages as
normal to update the data viewer press the "brown" "view" button......

5. Moving WebPages : <<back

You can move WebPages to folders in the database catalogue easily and quickly to do so
click on the tick box next to the name or names you wish to move.

Press the "Mov" button

You can use the drop down selection box to choose the Topic heading to move the WebPages to
or create a topic by press on the Create Topic button. Then press the update button to move the
information want to move.

Please note : You cannot move a folder into another folder all the contents of the folder will be
moved to the new folder.

All folders will be displayed in red as below

6. Deleting Captured WebPages : <<back

You can easily and quickly delete captured WebPages by ticking the tick box next to the WebPage
name or folder you can also tick a number of WebPage names and folders. Then press the "Del" button.

You will be asked if you wish to delete the items you have selected to delete press the ok button.

7. Program Setup : <<back

You can setup the various features of Instant WebPage Capture by clicking on the "Set" button
each of the features will be explained below.

Internet Temporary files :
It is good Internet practice to clear your Internet temporary files\nor (Internet cache) regularly.
When you view a WebPage generally all information about the WebPage is stored in this directory,
Instant WebPage Capture and your computer performs better when this directory is cleared as
sometimes these directories can become very large.

Temporary file :
Although not needed by the software once again it is good practice to have this clear on a regular
basis for optimal machine performance.

Setup Encryption Password :
The default seeing to unencrypt a captured WebPage is no password at all, if you are wanting to
add a password leave the old password blank if you are changing the password for the first time.

Always Encrypt Captured WebPages :
By checking this box when you go to capture a WebPage the encrypt feature will be checked ready
for encrypting the captured WebPage.

Take out annoying JS :
JavaScript is a programming script language that can be found on WebPages, this allows for pop
up windows and other functions from within the WebPage to occur. Some scripts can cause
delays in viewing of WebPage data as they access the Internet or pop up extra unwanted windows.
By having this box checked some JavaScript functions will be disabled on the saved WebPage.
It is recommended to have this box ticked

Delete topic heading :
By using the drop down box you can remove a topic name off the list This will only be
removed from the topic list and not from the main database. It is quite safe to remove a topic
name if the topic is in the database it will not be removed......

Set auto load timer :
You can set the time to veiw webPages you have captured with this tool this can be very use
when you have many webpages to scout through. when the "Ato" button is clicked in the main
data screen this will start the auto view the button will go read indicating that it is active to stop
at any time press the red "Ato" button.

8 Cycling Views : <<back

pressing on the "Cyc" button will allow you to cycle through different database folder style views for your comfort

9. I cannot see the red folder : <<back

If you do not see the red folder in your Explorer menubar Please follow the steps as below

A. Close down all Internet Explorer Windows and run Internet Explorer again.

If this does not work

B. move your mouse to the menubar as shown below press the right mouse button then move the mouse
down to "Customize..." then press the left mouse button.

You should now see the Customize Toolbar window as below.

Press the "Reset" button to reset your Internet Explorer, for your comfort you can move items up and down
to change there position in the menubar, make sure that you have left clicked on the item first as below before moving
